Thanksgiving is by far our busiest week of the year. Our fresh turkeys (never frozen) are a staple of many Thanksgiving meals.
Turkey orders are taken in person or by phone starting around Halloween, or you can just walk in and get one!
Sizes range from 8 pounds to over 40 pounds and we take orders in two pound increments such as 14-16, 16-18 pounds etc. |

Thanksgiving is a much more then turkeys. We offer the best sweet potatoes, kale, collards, and other potatoes and produce you need to complete the home cooked holiday meal. |

Our turkeys are all natural birds that are not injected with water or other liquids; they are naturally tender and juicy.
While we do not raise our turkeys we get them from a variety of local farms to find all the sizes and quantities we need. |

Remember: our fresh turkeys are available year round as well as turkey parts and smoked turkey parts.
Best of all is our ground turkey, hand trimmed to be extra lean and ground by us. Fresh, never frozen, and lean…delicious. |

Mrs. Richardson recommends turkey cooking bags and following the directions with the bag. Also a can of our turkey broth in your pan bottom with a few extra necks so guest do not have to share the one the turkey comes with.
Fresh turkeys generally cook faster then turkeys that have been previously frozen, so please use that thermometer or watch the pop up thermometer that came with the turkey prior to the time on any time table you use.
Mrs. Richardson always cooks at 350 degrees and that further reduces cooking time. |
