Richardson Farms - Our Farms

White Marsh is the center of our entire operation. All products from all farms come here to be packed and shipped from our warehouse. 

Other members of our family own the farm contiguous to us and we rent it from them, making it seem like one 100 acre farm.

What has made this area a great farming location are the sandy soils, plentiful irrigation water and proximity to market.

We have rented land in the neighborhood over years as we grew, but the community is growing too. Farmland we previously rented has been developed such as the Vincent Farm School site and parts of the MD 43 extension.  None of this development was a surprise; it allowed us time to purchase two more farms:
Glen Arm
Our Glenarm Farm, purchased in 1989 is our most picturesque farm with a stone house and barn each over 200 years old.
Located on Glenarm road just west of Harford Road, vegetables growing in that grain area attracts attention.
   
Chase Farm

Our Chase farm on the edge of Bird River provides warm early ground for corn and tomatoes thanks to the warmth of the river. This farm also has land we rent from neighbors to make a total of 70 acres together.
